Withhold?

Psalm 84:11 “…No good thing will He (God) withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

Does God hold back anything good from us? No! “He does not hold back anything good from those whose lives are innocent” (NCV). God won’t hold back anything if we obey His instructions from the Word of God and believe His promises.

One good example when God told Abraham there would be a nation coming from his descendants. He had waited 25 years for a son. Abraham would probably be 5,000 years old if he had lived to see all that God had done from Abraham’s descendants. Abraham would get to see all the people of the world who had accepted Jesus Christ just simply because “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Romans 4:3). This proves that God did not withhold His promises to Abraham. Thousands of generations had trust God because Abraham believed God. What does that make us want to do? Continue to believe that God is not holding back on us. He always has a plan. So let’s trust our God today!
