Whole Armor of God!

Poem written by Dorothy Callies
Put on the whole Armour of God and be strong in the Lord.
Put on the whole Armour of God and believe on His Word.

Be a soldier, taking your stand against the evil day.
On your knees, praying in Spirit will help open the way.

Put on the helmet of salvation against confusing mind.
Put on the belt of truth so other back you won't talk behind.

Put on the breastplate of righteousness against mixed feelings.
Take up the shield of faith so Satan can't cause your reelings.

Wear the shoes of preparation of the gospel of peace.
Be alert and pray always. So please don't you ever cease.

Take up the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.
Stand up! Fight your enemy and claim your victory on your sod.

March! March! March! March! Against confusing time.
March! March! March! March! Oh, hear the Spirit's chime.

March! March! March! March! Against confusing time.
March! March! March! March! Oh, hear the Spirit's chime.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, Satan's battle are fierce against the born-again believers on the Halloween Day. I pray that we be sober and be vigilant; because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour [1 Peter 5:8]. I pray that we refuse to give in to Satan, by standing strong in our faith. We know that many Christian family all over the world is suffering from the attacks of Satan. We also know that You will gives us all the grace and will make everything right. You will make us strong and support us and keep us from falling. We know that some day we will share Your glory and all the suffering will be worth it all when we see You, Jesus. All power are Yours forever and ever. You, Lord are greater than Satan, himself. We thank you for the strength You have given us to be a mighty overcomer and remember all the rewards You promised to those who overcome our enemy. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Good Morning!

Dear Friend,
I am praying with you and together we put on the whole armour of God and Jesus is our Captain of the army. As we join with Him leading, we could sing in the Spirit, Onward, Christian Soldiers. It is a well known song. May God bless you.

1. Onward Christian solders! Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus Going on before;
Christ, the royal Master, Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle, See His banners go!
Chorus:
Onward, Christian solders! Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus Going on before.

2. Like a mighty army Moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading Where the saints have trod;
We are not divided, All one body we;
One in hope and doctrine, One in charity. [Chorus]

3. Onward, then ye people! Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices In the triumph song;
Glory, laud and honor Unto Christ the King;
This through countless ages Men and angels sing. [Chorus]

Peace of God

Peace of God ... Shall Keep Your Hearts.
Philippians 4:7
KJV: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.
NCV: And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus

Commentary Note:
When we call on God from hearts that sincerely try to abide in His Word, then the peace of God will flood our troubled souls.
Three things what peace could do:
1. This peace is an inner tranquility mediated to us by the Holy Spirit. It involves a firm conviction that Jesus is near and that God's love will be active in our lives for good.
2. When we lay our troubles before God in prayer, this peace will stand guard at the door of our hearts and mind, preventing the cares of life and the heartaches of disappointment from overthrowing our lives and hope in Christ.
3. If fear and anxiety return, prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving will once again put us under the peace of God that guards our hearts. Once more we will feel safe and rejoice in the Lord.

Prayer Song: Wonderful Peace

Peace! peace! Wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above,
Sweep over my spirit forever I pray,
In fathomless bellows of love.

Christ, Our Peace!

Christ, Himself Is Our Peace.
Ephesians 2:12-14a NCV
"Remember that in the past you were without Christ. you were not citizens of Israel, and you had no part in the agreements with the promise that God made to his people. You had no hope, and you did not know God. BUT NOW IN CHRIST JESUS, YOU WHO WERE FAR AWAY FROM GOD ARE BROUGHT NEAR THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST'S DEATH. CHRIST HIMSELF IS OUR PEACE."

In our trouble times, it is important to remember that Christ is our Peace. What does the word peace means? The Hebrew word for peace is shalom. The basic meaning of shalom is harmony, wholeness, soundness, well-being, and success in all areas of life. It is opposite of war, conflicts and strife.

Where did it all begin? Adam and Eve when Satan had succeed destroyed their peace of life with God in the Garden of Eden. Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil and now He has given us the Holy Spirit who begins to work His fruit of peace in us [Gal.5:22]. With Holy Spirit's help, we pray for peace and allow Christ's peace to rule in our heart. May the Lord touch our hearts to have peace during our trouble times.

Prayer Song: Wonderful Peace

Peace! peace! Wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above,
Sweep over my spirit forever I pray,
In fathomless bellows of love.

The Blood Cleansed!

Jesus' Blood cleansed us.
I John 1:7 KJV
If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all our sin.

This is a Halloween Week so it is very important to quote any verses with the blood of Jesus. Check the Fresh Manna between March 2nd and 22nd with the Blood of Jesus any ten parts with the verses. The song, Under the Blood, the precious Blood, is very important to use it against the force of demons all around us. John encouraged us that the continual cleansing of Jesus' Blood allows us to have intimate (close) fellowship with God.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, the Calvary and the Blood of Jesus keeps us on guard against the force of demons. Thank You for the Blood of Jesus so we could be close to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Prayer song to the Lord:

1. Lord, keep my soul from day to day,
Under the Blood, under the Blood,
Take doubt and fear and sin away,
Under the precious Blood.
Chorus:
Under the Blood, the precious Blood,
Under the cleansing, healing flood;
Keep me, Savior, from day to day,
Under the precious Blood.

I Pray

Jesus said in John 17:20 "... I pray for those who believes in Me because of their teaching." Jesus prayed for us almost 2,000 years ago. How did we believe and accept Jesus as our Savior? Through the teaching of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the epistles of Paul, Peter, Jude, and James. He prayed for them to be able to write the Good News of Christ. John 17 is the whole chapter of Jesus prayers. He prayed to the Father for His followers and He also prayed for us.
Here's the poem: I PRAY.

Father, the hour is come;
Glorify Thy Son;
That Thy Son may glorify Thee.

Thou hast given Me power and grace;
To accept all the hardship I would face.
Eternal life to many as Thou has given Me.

I have glorified Thee on the earth
Since the day of My birth.
I have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do.

I have given them Your Word
Out of My mouth, they have heard.
Each word was given and they truly believed in You.

Now, I pray for them for they are Thine.
All Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine.
Keep them, Oh, Father, from this world at all cost.

I am in this world, no more,
But these do and I come to Thee for
You, Father to keep them that none will be lost.

I pray that all of My believers may be one.
I pray that Our desires for them may be done
That the world may see and truly know Our greatest love.

Neither do I pray for these disciples alone,
But many more who will come to Me to atone.
That they may behold My glory and Holy Spirit, My Dove.

Jesus Encourages!

Jesus encourages Jairus to believe.
Mark 5:36
KJV: .. he said unto the ruler of synagogue, "Be not afraid, only believe."
NCV: .. He told the synagogue leader, "Don't be afraid; just believe."
AMP: .. Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be seized with alarm and have no fear, only keep on believing.

Story from Mark 5:21-43
Jairus, one of the synagogue rulers came to Jesus. He begged Jesus to come to his home and to lay His hand on his dying daughter. Jesus went with him. Because of the crowd following Jesus, the woman could only touch the hem of Jesus' clothing, and Jesus felt the power went out of Him. And the woman was healed. While he was talking to her, Jesus had overheard Jairus' friends with a bad news, that his daughter had died. His friends said to Jairus, that there was no need to have Jesus come to his house to do anything for his dead daughter. Jairus become depressed and afraid, and the bad news hit him so hard. Do you know what Jesus did? The Scripture said in NCV, "But Jesus paid no attention to what they said. And in AMP, "... ignoring what they said..." He encouraged Jairus to continue to believe, not to be alarmed with bad news, have no fear and not to be afraid. Jairus took Jesus' words and believe. Later on, his daughter was healed.

Jesus encourages you to believe and Jesus is speaking to you:
"Do not be afraid. Just believe. Only believe. Only keep on believing. All things are possible to them that believe. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. Trust the Holy Spirit to do the work of miracle in your lives. Believe in Me. Believe in God. You will sense My presence when you believe. Let the healing of love flows inside of you for God is love. Perfect love cast out fear." Prayer: Oh Jesus, thank You for the words of encouragement that we need today. Thank You for encouraging my friends who may need to hear this from You. In Jesus' name. Amen!

Song: Only Believe
Only believe, only believe
All things are possible. Only believe.
Lord, I believe, Lord I believe,
All things are possible. Lord, I believe.

Freedom Now!

We have freedom now, because Christ made us free.
So stand strong. NCV Galatians 5:1a

Story from Mark 5:1-20 "A man with Demons Inside Him."

KJV verse 4 says, "he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plunked asunder (broken, separate) by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him." The word fetters means shackle or chains for the feet, anything that keeps him from running. A man broke the chains that tied his hands and his feet broke off the 'fetters'. Still the demons 'chained' inside that man that he was not able to be set freed. He lives in the mountains, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

Until one day, Jesus came and commanded the demons who had bound that man, to come out of him. GOOD NEWS! He was free. He sat down, and he had his clothes on. He had a wonderful peace of mind. Have you ever felt "chains" inside of you? Good news! Jesus breaks every chains inside of us and set us free. So I pray that our inner spirits are set free through the name of Jesus and every demons must bow to the name of Jesus and set us free in Jesus' name. Amen.

Song: Freely, Freely
God forgave my sin in Jesus' name;
I've been born again in Jesus' name;
And in Jesus' name I come to you
to share His love as He told me to.
He said, "Freely, freely you have
received; Freely, freely give.
Go in My name, and because you believe,
Others will know that I live."

All power is given in Jesus' name;
In earth and heaven in Jesus' name;
And in Jesus' name I come to you
to share His power as He told me to.
He said, "Freely, freely you have
received; Freely, freely give.
Go in My name, and because you believe,
Others will know that I live".

Be Sanctified!

Be sanctified totally through God's healing Spirit.
I Thessalonians 5:23
"May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

By Christ's stripes, you are healed.

Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJV
"Surely He has borne our griefs Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; And by His stripes we are healed.

Dorothy: What does this means to me?
It means that I am not to give up hope of healing for my body. I remind myself how many times Christ took the lashes, 351 stripes. How? On one whip had nine lashes plus 39 times Christ had been beaten with a total of 351 stripes just for me and just for you. When you take communion, remember His stripes. "By His stripes we are healed," gives me new strength in my body, and stronger faith in His Word. The Word of God means what He says. I believe this. Do you?

Song: He Is My Everything

He is my everything, He is my all.
He is my everything, great or small.
He gave His life for me, made everything anew.
He is my everything, Jesus, I love you.

To You That Overcome

Romans 8:37
KJV: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. NCV: But in all these things we have full victory through God who showed his love for us.

1. To you that overcome
I will give to eat the tree of life.
2. To you that overcome
I will give thee a crown of life.
3. To you that overcome
Shall not be hurt of the second death.
4. To you that overcome
I will give to eat of the hidden manna.
5. To you that overcome
I will give you a white stone with your new name on it.
6. To you that overcome
I will give you power to rule over the nations with a rod of iron.
7. To you that overcome
I shall give you clothing in white raiment.
8. To you that overcome
I will not blot out your name out of the book of life.
9. To you that overcome
I will confess your name before My Father and before His angels.
10. To you that overcome
I will make your enemies to come and bow before your feet.
11. To you that overcome
I will make your enemies to know that I have loved thee.
12. To you that overcome
I will make a pillar in the temple of My God.
13. To you that overcome
I will write upon you the name of My God.
14. To you that overcome
I will write upon you the name of the city of My God.
15. To you that overcome
I will write upon you My new name.
16. To you that overcome
I will grant you to sit with Me in My throne,
Even as I also overcome,
17. I am set down with My Father in His throne.
Poem written from Revelation 2 & 3
[Dorothy Callies]

What is conquer? The dictionary says: 1. get by fighting; win by war: conquer a country. 2. overcome by force; defeat; get the better of: conquer an enemy, conquer a bad habit. 3. be victorious; be the conqueror. In order for us to understand the key verse of Roman 8:37, we need to read Romans 8:31-39.

Victory is Mine!

Victory is mine, victory is mine,
Victory, today is mine.
I told Satan, get thee behind,
Victory, today is mine.

Healing is mine, healing is mine,
healing, today is mine.
I told Satan, get thee behind,
Healing, today is mine.

Jesus is mine, Jesus is mine,
Jesus, today is mine.
I told Satan, get thee behind,
Jesus, today is mine.

Let God fight your battle for you and defeat the attack of illness.

"The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation [healing]; He is My God, and I will praise Him; my father's God, and I will exalt Him. The LORD is a man of war; the LORD is His name". Exodus 15:2-3 NKJV

Summary Commentary:
John 3:14 NKJV "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up". God commanded Moses to make a bronze serpent and place it in a pole. Serpents had bitten the people in the wilderness, and many of them were dying. God told Moses that if the people would LOOK upon the bronze serpent, they would live. The word "looketh" means faith. Those who LOOK believe for a healing. Whoever believes that Jesus came and died, and is the Savior and the Healer, will be healed. Whoever LOOKS UP to the Lord Jesus on the cross with eyes of faith will find wholeness.

Prayer:
Good morning, Father, good morning Jesus, and good morning Holy Spirit. Thank You for Word to renew our inner man day by day. Covered us with the blood of Jesus Christ, saturated us with Your love and anointed us with Your oil of gladness. We rejoice in You that "Victory are ours" in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior.

Jesus Heals

Jesus heals the brokenhearted.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
Luke 4:18 NKJV

Why Jesus still heals today:
1. Jesus heals because He has compassion.
Because of what He endured on the cross, the Lord
fully understands the pain and suffering we experience.
2. Jesus heals to bring glory to His father.
Christ knew the source of His power and continually
reminded people that He had come to do the work of His Father.
3. Jesus heals to fulfill the Father's promise.
The miracles of Christ... are the fulfillment of God's
promises spoken through His prophets to us His people.
4. Healing belongs to His children.
God heals without respect of persons. He heals anyone.
5. Healing demonstrates the power of God.
People saw the power of God through Jesus' action of healing.
6. Healing demonstrates the power of His blood.
Christ's death on the cross was not only for your salvation,
but for your healing.
7. Jesus heals to destroy the works of the devil.
Every time someone is healed, Satan loses his battle.

Jesus is anointed to heal you.
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with
power, who went about doing good and healing all who were
oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

Resist The Devil!

Resist the devil's attacks on your health
James 4:7,8a NCV
So give yourselves completely to God. Stand against the devil, and the devil will run from you. Come near to God, and God will come near to you.

James 1:17 NCV
Every good action and every perfect gift is from God. These good gifts come down from the Creator of the sun, moon, and stars, who does not change like their shifting shadows.

James 5:16 NCV
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so God can heal you. When a believing person prays, great things happen.

Inspired to pray:
Father in heaven, thank You for reminding me that "The blood of Jesus cleansed us from all unrighteousness" and "He is faithful to forgive all of our sins" through Jesus' Name. Amen!

Dorothy:
The Lord is great. The Lord is merciful. May we trust every word of God and let the Word digest into our soul and let the healing continues in us and through us. Never give up hope that His Word meant what He says. Holy Spirit knows just what we need to hear especially the song this morning, "In the name of Jesus, in the name of
Jesus, we have the victory." This is an act of faith that we have the victory in Christ. May the LORD touch you and bless you today.

Song: In the Name of Jesus
In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus
We have the victory
In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus
Demons will have to flee
Who can tell what God can do
Who can tell of His love for you
In the name of Jesus, Jesus
We have the victory.

Calvary Covers!

Song: Calvary Covers It All
Calvary covers it all,
My past with its sin and stain;
My guilt and despair
Jesus took on Him there,
And Calvary covers it all.

In Christ's blood, there is healing power.

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7

Every curse, including sickness has been broken by Christ.

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")". Gal.3:13

Dorothy:
What I do with Fresh Manna after I am done? I go back and sign the verses slowly, and allow the Word to become my healing. John 15 reminds me that a branch cannot produce fruit ALONE but must remain in the vine. In the same way, you cannot produce fruit ALONE but must remain in Jesus and His word. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. If we quote His word and His Word stays inside of us, we will produce much fruit. Without Jesus, without His Word in you and me, we have nothing to work with to bring healing for our bodies. Jesus said, "...abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: without me ye can do nothing." John 15:5b KJV

Prayer Song:
Thank you Lord for saving my soul.
Thank you Lord for making me whole.
Thank you Lord for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and so free.

You Sent Your Word

Song: I Am the God That Healeth Thee
I am the God.. that healeth thee..
I am the Lord, your Healer...
I sent My word.. and healed your disease..
I am the Lord.. your Healer...

You are the God.. that healeth me..
You are the Lord., my Healer...
You sent Your word.. and healed my disease..
You are the Lord.. my Healer...

Sing, pray, and declare these truths from the Psalms:

Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled. Psalm 6:2; O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. Psalm 30:2; I said, "Lord, be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You." Ps. 41:4 NKJV; He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Psalm 103:3 NCV

A story of a man who experienced a glorious healing from colon cancer during the year of 1996. He talked about how glorious it is to be touched by God's miracle-working power, and to step from death into life as health is restore by God's grace. He said that he never fails to thank God each day for his healing and to testify to others about God's healing touch. He never takes his miracle or his health for granted. He thanks God for health and healing for today and every day.

Commentary:
If you have received a miracle, remember to give God the glory. This is an important weapon against the enemy. We are healed because of God's grace, not because we are something important. Never fail to give Him thanks.

Prayer song: It Is No Secret What God Can Do

It is no secret... what God can do.
What He's done for others, He'll do for you.
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you.
It is no secret... what God can do.

God Sees Your Need

God sees your need and will heal you.
Isaiah 57:18-19 NKJV
"I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him,And restore comforts to him And to his mourners. I create the fruit of lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," Says the Lord, "And I will heal him."

Your healing is speeding your way.

Isaiah 58:8 NKJV
"Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing will spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

Binny Hinn's story from devotion book:
I remember a lady who went to Katherine Kuhlman's meetings eleven times before she was healed. Eleven times! I asked one day, "Why did you keep going back?" She said, "Because I knew. I knew my day was coming, and I was going to go back until God healed me. I was not giving up."

The reason many do not get healed is because they give up so quickly. Remember, faith is vital (important)and prayer of faith is important. You see, faith not only prays, faith acts. Let me say quickly, that when God heals, He imparts (give) faith necessary for the healing... He gives us a measure of faith... God imparts (gives) faith to those who need a healing through His Spirit. So you don't have to struggle or beg--just receive! The Bible says, "The prayer of faith will save the sick."

Song: I am healed by His stripes
I am healed,.. by His stripes,..
By the stripes that made
the blood so freely flow;...
Just as surely as I know,
I am saved forever more,
I am healed by the stripes
that Jesus bore.

The Healer

Song:
He was wounded for our transgressions:
He was bruised for our iniquities;
Surely He bore our sorrows,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:4-5
KJV "Surely he hath bore our griefs, and
carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him
stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But
he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement
of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes
we are healed."
NCV "But he took our suffering on him and felt
our pain for us. We saw his suffering and thought
God was punishing him. But he was wounded for the
wrong we did; he was crushed for the evil we did.
The punishment, which made us well, was given to
him, and we are healed because of his wounds."

Dorothy:
My heart was touched when I read this scripture
about Jesus and what He did for us. Suddenly Holy
Spirit inspired me with a song, 'At the Cross.'
Song:
"At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw
the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away.
It was there by faith, I received my sight
and now I am happy all the day."

May the presence of God be real to you today,
and may Jesus appears to you and touch you
and be healed today, In Jesus name. Amen

Dictionary for song signs:
wounded=hurt; transgression=broken law or sins;
bruised=beaten; iniquities=sins; bore=patience or
carry; sorrows=grief or sorry; stripes=whip.

Reach Out!

Song:
Reach out and touch the
Lord as He walk by,
You'll find He's not to busy
to answer your heart's cry
He is passing by this moment,
Your need He'll supply.
Reach out and touch the
Lord as He walk by.

The Apostles Heal Many
Acts 5:12-16
NCV: The apostles did many signs and miracles among the people. And they would all meet together on Solomon's Porch. None of the others dared to join them, but all the people respected them. More and more were added to the group of believers. The people placed their sick on beds and mats in the streets, hoping that when Peter passed by at least his shadow might fall on them. Crowds came from all the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those who were bothered by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we rely on Your Word that Jesus is still our healer today. Even with Peter's shadow fall on sick people in the streets, they were all healed. So by Thy word, we are healed from our severe pains in our bodies and anointed us with Holy Spirit's flowing in our bodies and be healed in Jesus' name today. We trust You to keep Your Word of healing power for all of us. Amen and Amen!

Thank you heavenly Father as our lips be full of praise and thanksgiving for Jesus' healing power.

Be Confident!

Be confident of your healing in Christ---don’t give up; don’t let go.

Hebrews 3:14
NKJV: We have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.
NCV: We all share in Christ if we keep till the end the sure faith we had in the beginning.
Hebrews 10:35-37
KJV: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
NCV: So do not lose the courage that you had in the past, which has a great reward. You must hold on, so you can do what God wants and receive what he has promised. for in a very short time, "The one who is coming will come and will not be delayed."

Song:
I believe God, I believe God
Ask what you will and it shall be done.
Trust and obey, believe Him and say,
'I believe, I believe God....'

Song:
I believe the answer on the way.
I believe the Lord has heard me pray.
Cast not away thy confidence, says the Lord thy God.
Now by faith in Him alone I stand.
Firmly held by His almighty hand.
Fully, trusting in His promise, Praise the Lord.

Rise & Be Healed!

Rise and be healed in the name of Jesus;
Let faith arise in your soul!
Rise and be healed in the name of Jesus;
He will make you every part whole!
Verse:
Have fear and doubt come your mind?
Has your faith been sorely tried?
Lift up your eyes; here cometh your help!
It is Jesus-- for you He has died!

Boldly approach God’s throne of grace to seek your healing
.
Hebrews 4:16
NKJV: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
NCV: Let us, then, feel very sure that we can come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we can receive mercy and grace to help us when we need it.

Note from the commentary:
Jesus said, “Ask the Father in My name.” Even though you are approaching God through His Son, it is still the Father you are asking for the gift. And your request goes through the Son to the Father. How is the gift returned? Let’s say your request is for healing. God the Father…looks at God the Son and says, “Would you please heal her?” Christ delivers the healing. Why? Because that is the role of the administrator. The very word administrate means to minister or to serve. So the Father releases the healing to the Son, and the Son serves it to you. Can you picture yourself reaching out to receive your healing and finding that somehow it seems just out of your reach? That’s where the work of Holy Spirit enters the picture. He presents Himself to manifest the healing provided by God and served by His Son. It is the Spirit who completes the process of your healing.

I Need Healing!

I need healing this morning so I search for this Word of God to inspire my faith in God for healing touch. I ache and groan and I am sure you are too! Join with me in quoting this story about the woman who was determined to be healed. Praise God for hope. May God inspire you, touch you and heal you in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Dorothy:
I could think of one story of Jesus who was walking with many people around Him. Somebody had touched the border of his garment and He stopped walking. He said, "Who touched Me"? Peter was surprised and said, "What? There are people all around touching You." Jesus said, "No, this was a special touch because I felt the power went out of me." The woman came to Jesus and told Him what she did. Jesus was impressed and said to her, "Go in peace because it was your faith that made you whole". She was the one that stopped Jesus from walking and she received her healing. This story is found in Luke 8:43-48.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this story of hope. And give us strength not to give up believing in Your Son, Jesus whom we could touch Him by faith. Thank you for giving us strength to be like this woman who was determined to be healed. Holy Spirit, help us to remember God's promises of healing power that belong to us, in Jesus' name. Amen!

A Psalm of Praise

Enter His presence with singing.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving.

Enter His presence with hands raised.
Enter His courts with praise.

Enter His presence with blessing.
His mercy is everlasting.

Be thankful to Him and bless His name.
He never changes and He’s always the same.

Hallelu...jah! Hallelu...jah!
Hallelujah! Praise His Name!

Hallelu...jah! Hallelu...jah!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord...!

[I woke up with spontaneous poem inspired
by Holy Spirit on Oct. 10, 2008 at 3 a.m.]

Psalm 100:1-5 KJV
v1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. v2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing. v3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. v4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless His name. v5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.

Dorothy:
Dictionary meaning of the word: spontaneous: 1. caused by natural desire; not forced; not planned beforehand. 2. taking place suddenly. 3. produced or make something naturally.

Holy Spirit came upon 120 disciples spontaneously without any forces and they spoke new languages they never learned before. In this story, the word spontaneously means that they were baptized with Holy Spirit naturally as John said that He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire [Matthew 3:11 and Acts 2:4].

The word spontaneously is very important word to know that there are times Holy Spirit will come to you spontaneously and you don’t know what to do. Give yourself to Him and allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with God’s presence and feel His love. Start with Psalm 100 and open yourself to Him. It is beautiful.

Our Hearts Warm

Was not our hearts warm?
Luke 24:32
KJV: And they said to one another, Did not our heart
burn within us, while he talked with us by the way,
and while he opened to us the scriptures?
NCV: They said to each other, "It felt like a fire
burning in us when Jesus talked to us on the road
and explained the Scriptures to us."
AMP: And they said to one another, Was not our heart
greatly moved and burning within us while He was
talking with us on the road [and] as He opened and
explained to us [the sense of] the Scriptures?

Jesus on the Road to Emmaus

Luke 24:13-35
Dorothy: The song, "Let's talked about Jesus,"
reminds me of the story of two followers who were
on the way to a town called, Emmaus. They were
talking about Jesus because they didn't know that
Jesus had arose. When Jesus joined and walked with
them to Emmaus, they were discussing the Scriptures.
Later when their eyes were opened and they recognized
Him, and He vanished. They realized that when Jesus
talked about the Scriptures, their heart were inspired.

What does this means to me?
It made me realized that reading the Scriptures will
inspired me, touched me, healed me, blessed me, lifted me,
changed my life and get to know Jesus more and more. The
Scriptures were all about Jesus. The whole Bible is an
inspiration from God.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, help us to realize You have revealed
to us through Your Word, the Bible. Open our eyes to see
You, the same way You have opened two followers' eyes to
recognize You and Your Word. Help us to find someone to
talk about You and let our hearts burn within us.
In Jesus' name. Amen! God bless you!

Song: Let's talk about Jesus!

Let's talk about Jesus!
The King of kings is He.
The Lord of lords supreme!
Throughout eternity.
The great I am the Way,
the truth, the Life, the door.
Let's talk about Jesus more and more.

Sweet Counsel

Psalm 55:14
KJV: We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. AMP: We had sweet fellowship together, and used to walk to the house of God in company. NCV: We had a good friendship and walked together to God’s Temple.

The meaning of the words: counsel and sweet.
The word ‘counsel’ means act of exchanging ideas; act of talking things over. It also means advice. “A wise person gives good counsel.” It also can be a person or group that gives advice; talk about things that are very important. The word ‘sweet’ means pleasant and agreeable and fresh.

Dorothy:

David had sensed the presence of the Lord to be able to have a sweet fellowship with God and walked with God to His Temple. God is delighted when we come to Him for counsel and we find His Word pleasant and fresh for our inner man. Like scripture says, “Our inner man is renewed day by day.” Every morning, Holy Spirit gives me sweet counsel to study His Word and feed my soul. And He helps me find the topic or idea to put into Fresh Manna to share with you His sweet, pleasant and fresh Word for our souls. As for this poem below, I hope you enjoy other resources with “counsel.”

Psalm 73:24
“THOU SHALT GUIDE ME WITH THY COUNSEL.”

When I do wrong or go astray
my happiness all runs away.

Or when I’m bad and tell a lie
I get a teardrop in my eye.

But then I know that I can look
for counsel in God’s Holy Book.

Psalm 16:7
“I WILL BLESS THE LORD, WHO HATH GIVEN ME COUNSEL.”

Jesus tells us to be true
in very little thing we do,

So that someday we can be
by His side eternally.

Jesus wants this most of all.
Let us listen to His call.

Little Child

Who is the greatest of you all?
I called a child who was very small.

In the midst of them, I set the small child
as an example of tenderness, he was so mild.

You must change your way to enter
the kingdom of heaven which will last forever.

Be like this little child who is ever so humble.
A child who believes in Me easily and doesn’t mumble.

That is the kind of people that Father and I like the best.
They are what makes the kingdom of heaven, the greatest.

Anyone whose heart accepts the child in My name
Has accepted Me because the child and I are the same.

But woe to you who hurts the child that believes in Me.
It would be better for you to be drowned by the Sea.

Take heed with My little ones that you do not despise.
Because the angels watch over them so “be careful,” is My advise.

Poem from Matthew 18:1-6
[Written by Dorothy Callies in 1980]

Jesus was speaking to disciples.
Who Is the Greatest? - Luke 9:46-48
NCV: Jesus’ followers began to have an argument about which
one of them was the greatest. Jesus knew what they were thinking,
so he took a little child and stood the child beside him. Then
Jesus said, “whoever accepts this little child in my name accepts
me. And who ever accepts me accepts the One who sent Me, because
whoever is the least among you all is really the greatest.”

God, I Search for You

“O God, Thou art my God; early will I seek thee.”
Psalm 63:1 [God speaks in poem]

I will whisper in your ear,
how I love you, children dear.

Promise Me you will be true
in every little thing you do,

For you know I love you all,
even though you’re only small.
[A Poem given by a deaf friend]

Theme: Wishing to Be Near God
Psalm 63:1-4,8
KJV: O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; v2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. v3 Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. v4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hand in thy name. v8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

NCV: God, you are my God. I search for You. I thirst for You like someone in a dry, empty land where there is no water. v2 I have seen You in the Temple and have seen Your strength and glory. v3 Because Your love is better than life, I will praise You. v4 I will praise You as long as I live. I will lift up my hands in prayer to Your name. v8 I stay close to You; You support me with Your right hand.

Dorothy:
David prayed this prayer, “O God…I search for You… I thirst for Your presence… v8 I stay close to You… You support me….” This kind of prayer shows David’s deep longing in his heart for God, one that can only be satisfied by an intimate relationship with Him. There are questions in our lives that we need to ask ourselves: Do I really have a strong desire for God and His presence in my life? Do I have a deep hunger and thirst for God and His righteousness? Do I have a deep desire to keep reading His Word? Do I have a deep desire to keep in prayer time with God? Do I long for His Spirit, His power, and His glory to be reveal in me? Remember the parable of the Ten Virgins, five wise virgins kept extra oil while five other virgins didn’t seem to realize how important it is to have extra oil during long waiting for bridegroom to come.

Prayer:
O Lord, deliver us from our flesh that tries to keep us from wishing to be near You. Song: Set my spirit free that I might worship Thee. Set my spirit free that I might praise Thy name. Let all bondage go, and let deliverance flow. Set my spirit free to worship Thee.

Come Unto Me

Are you tired? Are you weary?
Are you feeling life is so dreary?
Come unto Me and I will give you rest.

Are you feeling restless?
Are you angry that life’s a mess?
Come unto Me and I will give you My best.

Are you feeling anxieties?
Is your mind full of worries?
Come unto Me and your mind will be at ease.

Are you feeling the worst
since the day of your birth?
Come unto Me and you shall find peace.

Are you struggling with your life?
Are you and your friends in strife?
Come unto Me and allow Me to show you.

Are you so very proud
that you couldn’t come around?
Come unto Me for I am lowly in heart, too.

Are you confused with life’s road?
Do you carry a heavy load?
Come unto Me and I will show you the Way.

Are you broken in heart
and feeling pulled apart?
Come unto Me and I will brighten your day.

Why are you so down?
Is your face darkened by a frown?
Come unto Me and with you, let Me embrace.

Are you feeling bad?
Are you feeling sad?
Come unto Me and let me give you My grace.

May the Lord touch your heart as you come to Jesus.

Inspiration Day!

On October 13, 1984, early Saturday morning, I was awakened by inner excitement of the Holy Spirit to rise and get dressed and leave at 6:30 from Beloit, Wisconsin to go to Milwaukee for a Leadership Workshop at 9 a.m. As Tony was driving on highway 90, suddenly, I received an inspiration of excitement that led me to write this poem. I preached the next day and shared this with the Deaf. What impressed me was how excited Jesus really was. It helped me to know Him as an excited person to share things with. I pray that this poetry will bless you as Jesus expressed how he really feels about you.

Excited?
I’m excited with Jesus ‘cause He excited with me.
I’m excited with Jesus, what a wonderful day that will be.

I’m excited with Jesus ‘cause He excited to say,
“Good morning, every one of you, I love you every way.”

I’m excited with Jesus ‘cause He is everything.
When He speaks, and oh, what a blessing, He will bring.

Jesus:
I’m excited to be with you, it gives My heart a thrill.
I’m excited to be with you, ‘cause you’re My child, still.

I’m excited to be with you ‘cause for you, I still care.
I’m excited to be with you so give Me your problems to share.

We will have a talk together until you empty your soul.
Oh, the joy of being together, it surely will make you whole.

Until My Spirit flooded you and you can be full of Me.
What a change of life inside for all the Deaf to see.

Isn’t this the reason why you’re called to really believe?
In the Son of God, who died for you to really receive?

Now, My friend, I’m eager for you to find the time to pray.
I’ll be waiting, yes, waiting for you . . . every day.

Letter from Betty Jo

My dear Dorothy,
I want to share with you what I write verses for us. Maybe you know verses from New Life Version.

Luke 6:38 Giving With A Heart of Love
“Give, and it will be given to you. You will have more than enough. It can be pushed down and shaken together and it will still run over as it is given to you. The way you give to others is the way you will receive in return.”

Romans 12:7-8 Various Gifts
“If someone has the gift of healing others, then he should help. If someone has the gift of teaching, he should teach. If someone has the gift of speaking words of comfort and help, she should speak. If someone has the gift of sharing what he has, he should give from a willing heart. If someone has the gift of leading other people, he should lead them. If someone has the gift of showing kindness to others, he should be happy as he does it.”

II Corinthians 12:7-10 Strength
“The things God showed me were so great. But to keep me from being too full of pride because of seeing these things, I have been given trouble in my body. It was sent from Satan to hurt me. It keeps me from being proud. I asked the Lord three times to take it away from me. He answered me, “I am all you need. I give you My loving-favor. My power works best in weak people.” I am happy to be weak and have troubles so I can have Christ’s power in me. I receive joy when I am weak. I receive joy when people talk against me and make trouble for me. I receive joy when all things come to me because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

John 11:4 Sickness [Lazarus was sick]
When Jesus heard this, He said, “This sickness will not end in death. It has happened so that it will bring honor to God. And the Son of God will be honored by it also.”

James 5:13-16 Prayer for You
“Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone happy? He should sing songs of thanks to God. Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the church leaders and they should pray for him. They should pour oil on him in the name of the Lord. The prayer given in faith will heal the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Tell your sins to each other. And pray for each other so you may be healed. The prayer from the heart of a man right with God has much power. “

Colossians 3:15-17 Praise and Being Thankful
“Let the peace of Christ have power over your hearts. You were chosen as a part of His body. Always be thankful. Let the teaching of Christ and His words keep on living in you. These make your lives rich and full of wisdom. Keep on teaching and helping each other. Sing the Songs of David and the Church songs and the songs of heaven with hearts full of thanks to God. Whatever you say or do, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus. Give thanks to God the Father through the Lord Jesus.

Hebrews 13:15-16 Give Thanks to God
Let us give thanks all the time to God through Jesus Christ. Our gift to Him is to give thanks. Our lips should always give thanks to His name. Remember to do good and help each other. Gifts like this please God.

Love you,
Betty Jo

God Bless you.
[Hand writing letter was to encourage me and I want to share with you in Fresh Manna. This was truly a blessing to be encouraged by Betty Jo.]
