Lion of Judah

Revelation 5:5 "Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David hath prevailed . . . "

Jesus Christ was called the Lion of Judah. We are in the generation of "Joshua" whose faith was strong in God and yet we need special strength. Joshua, 80 years old, was full of life and very active because he meditated the law of God day and night (Joshua 1:8). Joshua received the courage of a lion in his soul.

The Lion of the tribe of Judah wants to pass on to us the same boldness and courage of the Lion. We can be like Joshua and become strengthened through being active with meditation of God's Word, speaking, thinking and doing. Why do we need to do this?

We are on the battlefield and the powers of darkness will be all around to discourage, oppress, steal, kill and destroy.

So let us sing this old song:
The Lion of Judah shall break every chain,
And give to us the victory again and again.
The Lion of Judah shall break every chain,
And give to us the victory again and again.
(Inspiring Choruses)

May the Lord give you strength to prevail (to win against the opposition) and be victorious in Christ!
