A King Shall Reign In Righteousness

Isaiah 32:1-4, 8 NCV
v1 A king will rule in a way that brings justice, and leaders will make fair decisions. v2 Then each ruler will be like a shelter from the wind, like a safe place in a storm, like streams of water in a dry land, like a cool shadow from a large rock in a hot land. v3 People will look to the king for help, and they will truly listen what he says. v.4 People who are now worried will be able to understand. Those who cannot speak clearly now will then be able to speak clearly and quickly. v8 But a good leader plans to do good, and those good things make him a good leader.

Isaiah 32:1 KJV
BEHOLD, A king shall reign in righteousness,
and princes shall rule in judgment.

Note: A KING SHALL REIGN IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This prophecy foresees the worldwide reign of Christ, characterized by righteousness [Christ's character is righteousness] and by people who live in accordance with the word of God [people will obey Christ].

Dorothy: What is this about? Isaiah 32:2 came from E-mail from God for Men and I read some more to expand my understanding. This is about the future time with Israel who will have hard times coming and that things will be better. This is a hope for Israel's future that a king is coming to reign in righteousness. This is also a hope for us to know that this prophecy tells us that Christ is coming soon. It reminds me of a song.

Song: He's Coming Soon
He's coming soon, He's coming soon;
With joy we'll welcome His returning;
It may be morn, it may be night or noon
We know He's coming soon.
