Jesus encourages Jairus to believe.
Mark 5:36
KJV: .. he said unto the ruler of synagogue, "Be not afraid, only believe."
NCV: .. He told the synagogue leader, "Don't be afraid; just believe."
AMP: .. Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be seized with alarm and have no fear, only keep on believing.
Story from Mark 5:21-43
Jairus, one of the synagogue rulers came to Jesus. He begged Jesus to come to his home and to lay His hand on his dying daughter. Jesus went with him. Because of the crowd following Jesus, the woman could only touch the hem of Jesus' clothing, and Jesus felt the power went out of Him. And the woman was healed. While he was talking to her, Jesus had overheard Jairus' friends with a bad news, that his daughter had died. His friends said to Jairus, that there was no need to have Jesus come to his house to do anything for his dead daughter. Jairus become depressed and afraid, and the bad news hit him so hard. Do you know what Jesus did? The Scripture said in NCV, "But Jesus paid no attention to what they said. And in AMP, "... ignoring what they said..." He encouraged Jairus to continue to believe, not to be alarmed with bad news, have no fear and not to be afraid. Jairus took Jesus' words and believe. Later on, his daughter was healed.
Jesus encourages you to believe and Jesus is speaking to you:
"Do not be afraid. Just believe. Only believe. Only keep on believing. All things are possible to them that believe. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. Trust the Holy Spirit to do the work of miracle in your lives. Believe in Me. Believe in God. You will sense My presence when you believe. Let the healing of love flows inside of you for God is love. Perfect love cast out fear." Prayer: Oh Jesus, thank You for the words of encouragement that we need today. Thank You for encouraging my friends who may need to hear this from You. In Jesus' name. Amen!
Song: Only Believe
Only believe, only believe
All things are possible. Only believe.

All things are possible. Lord, I believe.
