Have you ever felt worthless or unworthy
sometimes? How does it feel when and if
the Lord says to you, “I need you?” Your
heart would flip, wouldn’t it? Mine did!
The story of Jesus’ triumphal entry into
Jerusalem, Jesus chose a donkey to serve
as His royal transportation. His disciples
were told to say, “The Lord has need of it”
(Mark 11:3). What did Jesus actually need?
A donkey to ride on to enter Jerusalem’s
gate called, “Eastern Gate” or “The Golden
Gate.”
Does it seem surprise that the Son of God
would use such lowly means to accomplish
His purposes? Christ came to us on earth
and became like us, yet we made excuses of
feeling worthless to Him. Still He says,
‘I want you, and that is enough.’ Whoa,
my heart flipped! What about you?
So trust Jesus’ Word today!
