The Lamb With His arm

Have you ever wonder what God picture you as a person this morning? Here's a scripture that explain to us.

Isaiah 40:11a. KJV
"He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm."

QuickVerse Life Application Bible says, "He will feed His flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in His arms, holding them close to His heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young."

God is often pictured as a shepherd, gently caring for and guiding His flock. He is powerful (40:10), yet careful and gentle. Wow, He cares that much to hold you close as a lamb, carry in His arms so very close to His heart. Believe this!

So trust God to carry you as a lamb to His very own heart today!

PS. Song: Near to the Heart of God.

1. There is a place of quiet rest
Near to the heart of God.
A place where sin cannot molest,
Near to the heart of God. (Molest=bother)
Chorus:
O Jesus, blest Redeemer,
Sent from the heart of God
Hold us who wait before Thee
Near to the heart of God.
(Cleland Boyd McAfee, Sing His Praise)
