Morning Prayer

Martin Luther's Morning Prayer

We give thanks to thee, Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, thy dear Son, that thou hast protected us through the night from all danger and harm; and we beseech (ask) thee to preserve and keep us, this day also, from all sin and evil, that in all our thoughts, words, and deeds, we may serve and please thee, into thy hands we commend our bodies and souls; and all that is ours. Let thy holy angel charge concerning us, that the Wicked One have no power over us. Amen.

In Jesus' name Amen!
I repeat Lord's Prayer and a verse "He (you) that cometh (continue to come) must believe that he (God) is, and that he (God) is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Heb. 11:6).

May the Lord bless you and heal you today!

Dorothy
