March 29-30, 2014 - Believe
and You Shall Have – Manna by Dorothy Callies
Mark 11:24, NKJV
Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray,
believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
The Lord lay on my
heart to start the prayer chains through the emails. If you have an urgent need
that you want to add your name and prayer request, I’ll be happy to do that and
send out to those who are willing to pray. The list will go to the blog on Deaf
Prayer Partners Lifeline so everyone could see to pray or print out the copy.
My goal is to type the healing scriptures on top of the prayer request as often
as I can. I will quote the scripture and sing a song over the prayer request
when I enter the Presence of the Lord. I will allow the Holy Spirit to lead me
whatever deem necessary such as intercession, claim the healing verses and/or
enter against the spiritual warfare.
Believing that receives is not something humanly produced; rather, it is a believing faith that God Himself put into the believer’s heart. Sometimes the fulfillment which true faith desires is granted immediately; at other times it is not. Yet God gives the faith that the prayer has been heard and the request will be granted.
His close presence
and our obedience to His Word are important and our deep faith in Christ. One
time Albert Jones gave a testimony that one time he lost his patience and ask
God why He didn’t heal his eyes right away. God spoke to his heart to allow Him
to mold his character and to develop the spiritual fruit of longsuffering which
is long patience. Every morning, he would quote the scripture and sing song to
the Lord and listen to the Lord explaining to him the meaning of the verses
that he had memorized many years before. He could not read the Bible as He used
to. So through the year, he enters into the Presence of the Lord and yield
himself to Him. Gradually, his right eye improved to where he now could read
big print.
This is where I am
learning to enter into His Presence with quoting scriptures and with singing
over the prayer request. At times, Tony and I would have personal Communion
with the Lord; remember His Calvary, prayer
for us and our friends. There would be various songs whatever the Holy Spirit
would leads. There are several songs about the healing.
What touches my heart
when I started to pray over the requests was the song called, Burdens are
Lifted at Calvary. Oh! When Holy Spirit leads,
the song seems to bring the radiant of healing power over requests through the
anointing of Holy Spirit.
Song: Burdens Are
Lifted at Calvary
Cast your care on
Jesus today, Leave your worry and fear;
Burdens are lifted at
Calvary, Jesus is very near.
Burdens are lifted at
Calvary, Calvary, Calvary;
Burdens are lifted at
Calvary, Jesus is very near.
(John M. Moore, Sing His Praise)
