Strength - 3

Verses for the Day: 2 Corinthians 12:9a [God said to Paul]
MY STRENGTH IS PERFECT IN WEAKNESS
KJV: “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
NCV: “My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, my power is made perfect in you.”
AMP: "My grace—My favor and loving-kindness and mercy—are enough for you, [that is, sufficient against any danger and to enable you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect—fulfilled and completed and show themselves most effective—in [your] weakness."

Note: MY GRACE IS ENOUGH FOR YOU.
Grace is God’s presence, favor, and power. It is a force, a HEAVENLY STRENGTH given to those who call upon God. His grace will come down upon the faithful believer who accepts his weaknesses difficulties for the gospel’s sake. The greater our weakness and trials for Christ, the more grace God will give us to accomplish His will. What He give to us is always enough for us to live our daily lives, to work for Him, and endure our suffering and "thorns in the flesh". As long as we draw near to Christ, Christ will give His HEAVENLY STRENGTH and comfort us.

Dorothy:
Paul said: “Three times I called upon the Lord…begged that it might depart from me; but He said to me, My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, I give you My strength.”

We have “thorns in our flesh”. Some of us have problems with our bodies. Diabetics, cramp in legs, nerves, sleepless nights, our age, and many other little things that bother us. What is God’s answer to this? Grace and strength, He gives to us. This grace reminds me of a short song, At Calvary. Why? It is because it is burdensome to carry any problem we have. What will relief us? My burdened soul will find freedom and peace when I turned to Calvary. Jesus, the One who suffered for me and endure the cross for me. Jesus, the One whose stripes will relief me through the strength so that I could endure whatever problems I would face and give me peace and perfect trust and complete rest in the Lord. I pray that God will give you grace and strength in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Song: At Calvary
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty,
