January 2018 - Steps of a Good Man – Manna by Dorothy Callies
Psalm
37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his
way.”
The
psalmist wrote the verse with a beautiful inspiration of God’s faithfulness and
care for everyone who really walk with Him. “The law of his God is in his heart;
none of his steps shall slide” (Psalm. 37:31). It interprets this way: The study
of God’s Word and hide them in your heart; none of your steps shall slipped and
fall. It means God’s Word will guide you and God will make sure that you would
not step into the wrong way.
The
steps of a good man or a good person means our faithfulness to God through
reading the Bible, recite Bible verses, or even studying the Bible, listening
some TV preachers teaching God’s Word, praying for someone and blessing them,
helping and sharing God’s Word, and serving others in needs and many more.
And
God delights in what you are doing for Him. God is pleasing. God is happy when
we allow Him to guide us step by step and to keep growing in Christ. It is
glory just to walk with Him. Why? Because it is an honor to walk with Jesus. When we are in worshipful praise to God, it is
like we are in heavenly happiness that God delights our presence with Him. Oh
yes, it is glory just to walk with Jesus.
