Dot's Testimony

Ezekiel 10:4 "Then the 'glory of the Lord' went up with the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory."

Ever wonder why in the world I pick this subject, "The Glory of the Lord"? I didn't. Here's an interesting testimony from me. This early wee morning, I checked the Bread Box card verse and picked one after another, another, and another. Nothing impress me. Sigh!

I came to my desk looking something for Bread Box. Nothing! Humm, Lord? I quote from James 1:5 my favorite "SOS" verse to the Lord when I need help. Navy used this code for "help." I waited. The hand of the Lord pointed the direction that led me to a second bedroom to one of the shelves that has a 4 inches notebook full of collection of my Journal Devotions for many years.

I took out the binder, wondering what does the Lord want me to find? I searched slowly and found devotion, "Glorifying God." Strong impression. I took one out. Put the notebook back to the shelf and went to the office. Pretty soon, the research led me into several copies about the Glory of God. Whoa! What a broad subject. Hold it. I'll sleep on it.

Woke up. Got ready. Went out to eat with Tony. My day off. I showed Tony the copies. He looked at me. "Whoa! A broad subject!" (I was right!) "Could be series on the Glory of God," said Tony. We discussed. We pondered on this. Finally, the Lord spoke, "I miss this. Hardly anyone ever talk about the "The Glory of God." Tony said, "True, I have not heard anyone preach about this." So he said, "Well, it's a start so what is "The Glory of God?" What is "glory"? Oh, I got it down, but look I need your prayer on this. We'll begin our "journey" with this topic "The Glory of God" Series.

Then beep beep! Taco Bell paged me, need help! So off I went. Didn't get a chance to send this morning to tell you the "struggle" of a Bread Box story. So thought you might find this refreshing and amusing, too! So start praying my friend!
