September 2020 - What is Man’s Destiny (future,
what)?
Manna
by Dorothy & Tony Callies
Proverbs
14:11-12 “The house of the wicked
will be overthrown, but the tent (a home or a place to live) of the upright
will flourish. There is a way that seems
right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
The
upright means a person who lives for God.
Today’s language, upright means Christians. The upright will flourish
means more of God’s blessings. There is a time you meet someone who says that
their religious is right, or their own way is right but a person need to check
with God’s Word if their ways does not lead to your own destruction, or leads
to death or hell.
Man’s final destiny (future decided beforehand) is death if he chooses the way that
seems right to him. As Isaiah said “All
we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way”
(Isaiah 53:6).
From
Matthew 7:13’s interpretation is like this: Man’s way is the broad or wide way
which is easy to choose and that way is less resistance. It is like being gullible,
easily deceived. The broad road that leads to destruction means eternal
separation from God. In another word, follow the crowd is easier than to say,
“No” and stand alone.
From
Matthew 7:14’s interpretation is like this: Man’s final destiny or future
decided is life if you chooses God’s way, which is through His Son, the Lord
Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “The gate is
small and the road is narrow which leads to life. Only a few people find that
road. ”
Jesus
said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me” (John 14:6). Jesus is God’s only way to eternal life (Acts 4:12). Why
is life difficult to follow sometimes? Because Satan will buffet us, tried to
destroy us. But here’s hope for us who goes through difficult time.
Thank
God for the Holy Spirit who helped us with our infirmities. Romans 8:26 says, “Also,
the Spirit helps us with our weakness.
We do not know how to pray as we should.
But the Spirit Himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with
deep feelings that words cannot explain.”
Thank God for Holy Spirit who will continue to help us.
Our
destiny or future planned, what? God’s
answer: “God planned for them to be like His Son; and those He planned to be
like His Son, He also called; and those He called, he (you) also made right with Him; and those He made
right, He (Christ) is glorified.” Romans 8:30 ncv.
Christ’s
righteousness in us is God’s plan for us. We as righteous made Christ
glorified, rich with much blessings. We make Christ so happy to have us being
with Him forever is what glorified Christ means. It made me realize God’s awesome plan for us
with Christ. Thank You, God Father for this amazing revelation. May God touch
many hearts to turn to Christ as their Savior. If you know the song, Amazing Grace, its how I
feel.
May
God bless you!

Song: Amazing
Grace
Amazing
Grace! how sweet the sound (that feels),
That
saved a wretch like me!
I
once was lost, but now am found.
Was
blind, but now I see.
It
was grace that taught my heart to fear (honor),
And
grace my fears relieved (set free);
How
precious did that grace appear
The
hour I first believed!
Through
many dangers, toils and snares,
I
have already come;
This
grace has brought me safe this far,
And
grace will lead me home.
[Lyrics: John
Newton; John P. Rees, Sing His Praise]
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I want to thank You for Your Word that You gave us the answer
why You created us. It is an honor that
You accept us to be like Your Son, Jesus in His character, His life style, His
laying down His life, and His great love . . .
How great Thou art, how great You are! My heart is filled with singing, Lord to thee!
I’m overwhelmed with Your great love and it warms my heart … Thank You! In
Jesus’ name.
