“Has the Lord
redeemed you? Then speak out?” God has done so much for us and we have so much
for which to thank Him. He wants us to tell everyone all that He has done.
These verses encourage us to declare what God has done. We are encourage not to
keep this glorious experience of God’s presence to ourselves, but to share with
others who might be hungry to hear what God has done for you. Is there someone
you would like to share and tell them how God can save them from their enemies?
Acts 1:8 “ But when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people
about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends
of the earth” (NLT).
Power from the Holy
Spirit is not limited to strength beyond the ordinary. That power also involves
courage, boldness, confidence, insight, ability, and authority. The disciples
would need all these gifts to fulfill their mission. If you believe in Jesus
Christ as your Savior, you can experience the power of the Holy Spirit in your
life.
So let us trust God
to give us the courage today!
Song: Redeemed
1. Redeemed how I
love to proclaim it!
Redeemed by the blood
of the Lamb:
Redeemed thro’ His
infinite mercy,
His child, and
forever, I am.
Chorus:
Redeemed, . . Redeemed,
. .
Redeemed by the blood
of the Lamb;
Redeemed, . . Redeemed,
. .
His child, and
forever, I am.
2. I know I shall see
in His beauty
The King in whose law
I delight,
Who lovingly
guard-eth my foot-steps
And giveth me songs
in the night.
Chorus:
Redeemed, . . Redeemed,
. .
Redeemed by the blood
of the Lamb;
Redeemed, . . Redeemed,
. .
His child, and
forever, I am.
