Philippians 3:13b
". . . one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind . . ."
Does
the memories of past bothered you? Today is halloween and the most
favorite tool of Satan is past. Satan is the accuser of the brethren day
and night. He used past to haunt us. Think about Paul. If the devil had
anything to bring against Paul, he would remembered how he had
persecuted the early church and caused the deaths of many, including
Stephen, the first Christian martyr.
Paul had done horrible
things that were hard for him to forget. But he had such a revelation of
God’s awesome forgiveness that he could say, “forgetting the past and
looking forward to what lies ahead. My goal is to reach heaven and meet
Jesus Christ, the One who called me to Him." Like Paul, you can forget
your past, the wrongs you have done and the hurts you have caused others
or been through yourself.
Know something? God can take the
tears of yesterday and transform them into the miracles of tomorrow.
Praise God! Can you believe this? He can restore to you in all abundance
what you have lost. He can cause all things, even the painful events of
your past, to work together for your good (Romans 8:28). Praise God! I
believe it! I received it!
God’s Word says, “The glory of the
Lord will protect you from behind” (Isaiah 58:8 NLT). His glory will
cover your past. Wherever you go, His glory covers your past. It is no
longer the same past that you know of because His glory has came down on
your past. It has been wiped out. It is gone! So don’t let your past
rob you of today’s joy!
Wow! God . . is so good! . . . God . . is
so good! . . . God . . is so good, He is so good . . to me! . . .
Remember the favorite song?
May the Lord cover you with the blood of Jesus today!

Your Words were Found
Good morning! Our prayers goes to our friends and families out in the
eastern part of US during the big storms. Be with them, Lord Jesus and
cover them with the blood of Jesus, in His name. Amen!
Jeremiah 15:16 NKJV
"Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart."
Are you eager to communicate with Him--look carefully into His Book to ask, "What did He say?" God's word of encouragement and His guidance are always available. We just have to find them and quote the right verses to meet our needs. And say them like Jeremiah prayed, "Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and the rejoicing of my heart" (Jer. 15:16).
If we have not talked to someone for a long time, we felt like "abandoned." When we finally met someone, we both chatting away and catching up news. Then we felt wonderful and it felt so good. Communication is like that. We eagerly expect to hear from someone and to talk.
Hey! God longs to talk to you. We just have to listen to Him. I have the same longing to hear God speak to us through His Word. I like this motto, "We cannot know the heart of God unless we have a heart for God" (RBC Daily Bread). Ponder this.
So let's sing: Wonderful Words of Life.
Sing them over again to me,
Wonderful words of life;
Let me more of their beauty see,
Wonderful words of life;
Words of life and beauty,
Teach me faith and duty;
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life;
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.
(Philip Paul Bliss, Sing His Praise)
Each morning, we survive through His Words!

Think About Yourself?
Good morning! I want to share with you about the "value." The word, assess means the value of.
Theme: What do you think about yourself?
Leviticus 27:12… the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad; as thou value it, who art the priest, so it shall be (KJV).
In the Old Testament, when someone who are poor, brought an animal to the priest, the priest check it over how much it is worth. "The priest will decide a price for the animal, according to whether it is good or bad; as the priest decides, that is the price for the animal. It will become holy when a person promise sacrifice to the Lord" (Lev. 27:9-13 NCV).
Actually, you have more authority than the Levitical priests of the Old Testament. They were of the old priesthood of mortal men. But you are of the greater and “forever” priesthood of Jesus! (Hebrews 7:8, 17) Not only that, you are a king-priest. (Revelation 1:6) In other words, you are king as well! And as a king, your assessment is also binding because where the word of a king is, there is power! (Ecclesiastes 8:4)
Today, you are a priest because of Jesus’ blood. (Revelation 1:5–6) And “as you, the priest, value it, so it shall be”. If you value your life to be filled with divine health, so it will be for you. So what do you think about yourself? A child of the King? Yes, your Heavenly Father said, " All that I have is yours for asking." Remember the story of an older brother of a prodigal son who came home and had a party for the lost brother? The Father said, "All that I have is yours. Just ask for it."
Chorus: "A Child of the King!"
"I'm a child of the King,
A child of the King!
With Jesus my Savior,
I'm a child of the King!"
(Lyrics: Harriet E. Buell, Sing His Praise).
So value yourself that you are a child of a King! Ask Him what you need today!

Loving Kindness
Psalm 143:8a NKJV
Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for in You do I trust.
What is God's loving kindness? God's unfailing love. Our hope in God is His unfailing love. The word trust also has a meaning of hope. We are living by faith day by day. We do not see God in person for He is a Spirit. While many people prefer to have an idol so they could see and worship to. That is not faith, but their hope in idols that they would hear their prayers. Sad, isn't it?
BUT we have a God, a Creator who breathe and speak the word and they become alive inside of us. An idol cannot do that. Why do people worship an idol, is beyond me. This gives me hope when I read this New Living Translation, "Let me hear of Your unfailing love to me in the morning, for I am trusting You. Show me where to walk, for I have come to You in prayer." Also NCV: "Tell me in the morning about Your love, because I trust You. Show me what I should do, because my prayers go up to You" (Ps. 143:8).
David shows that morning is the right time for him to praise God and ask for direction. Ps. 5:3 says, "Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly."
Prayer: "Hear my prayer, O Lord, listen to my plea! I am losing all hope. Help me to remember all that You have done for me. You have answered many prayers. Your unfailing love support me and I am trusting in You to answer another prayer request. I thank You again and again for Your wonderful love that never fail. Help me to remember that You love me, even me. Help my friends to remember that only You are our hope and You will answer our prayers. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen!"
Song: I Am Praying for You
I have a Savior; He's pleading in glory,
A dear loving Savior though earth friends be few.
And now He is watching in tenderness o'er me,
And oh, that my Savior were your Savior too.
For you I am praying, For you I am praying,
For you I am praying, I am praying for you.
(Samuel O'Malley Cluff)
Jesus is our Intercessor and He is praying for you. Just as He told Peter and He is speaking to us, "Satan has asked to sift you as wheat, But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail" (Luke 22:31-32).
My friend, trust God today!

Rose of Sharon
Song of Solomon 2:1
I am the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the Valley.
This is the Shulamite maiden speaking; she compares herself to simple wild flowers of the fields, for she is not accustomed to the luxuries of Jerusalem. Sharon is the coastal plain just north of Mount Carmel.
it is possible that the Shulamite or Shulammite maiden was Solomon's first wife from his youth, before he became a King. Shulammite is described in this song as a common girl from the countryside, attractive and beautiful, to whom Solomon was deeply and emtionally committed as one would be to his first love and bride.
Many past interpreters have seen this book as primarily a prophetic describing the love relationship between God and Israel, or between Christ and the Church, His bride. Song of Solomon may viewed as illustrating the quality of love that exists between Christ and His bride, the church.
(Note: Donald C. Stamps, The Full Life Study Bible)
What does this mean to me?
The verse of "The Rose of Sharon" reminds me of a chorus, Sweet Jesus is like the Rose of Sharon. Christ Jesus wants to be very close to you, to comfort you, and to love you. He wants to heal you so believe in Him as you sing the song, Sweet Jesus. This song would draw you close to His melting heart and you be blessed in Jesus' name. Amen!
Song: SWEET JESUS
Sweet Jesus, sweet Jesus
What a wonder You are,
You're brighter than the morning star;
You're fairer, much fairer
Than the lilies that grow by the wayside,
Precious, more precious than gold.
You're LIKE THE ROSE OF SHARON,
You're the fairest of the fair,
You are all my heart could ever desire.
Sweet Jesus, sweet Jesus
What a wonder You are,
You're precious, more precious than gold.

We love you sweet Jesus!
