Zephaniah 3:17
NCV: “The Lord your God is with you;
the Mighty One will save you. He will
rejoice over you. You will rest in His love;
He will sing and be joyful about you.”
KJV: “The Lord thy God in the midst of
thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice
over thee with joy; He will rest in His love,
He will joy over thee with singing.”
It is the Holy Spirit that put joy in our hearts.
Joy comes to us because we are forgiven and
no longer punished for our sins.
Joy comes to us because our enemy has been
defeated and we are set free from the bondage
of Satan and sin.
Joy comes to us because God is with us,
giving us His fellowship, grace, and help
throughout our lives and we are God’s
great love and He delights in us.
Our joy will be complete when God will
finally manifests His full glory and majesty
on the earth.
