Psalm 136:1,4,26, NLT “Give thanks to the Lord, for
He is good! His faithful love endures
forever. Give thanks to Him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever. Give
thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful
love endures forever.”
Psalm 136:1-26 repeated throughout this psalm is the phase “His faithful love endures forever.” This psalm may have been a responsive reading, with the congregation saying these words in unison (exact agreement) after each sentence, “His faithful love endures forever.” It was an important lesson for Israelite to remember this phrase and they let it sink into their hearts.
God’s
love includes the aspects (to look at as whole) of love, kindness, mercy, and
faithfulness. We never have to worry that God will run out of love because it
flows from a well that will never run dry. Amazing love of God with all the
surplus that His love has. Surplus means the amount more than what is required.
Not just a little love, but His love is more than enough for you and me.
Do
you ever felt like that God doesn’t love you when you go through so much
problems? Try quoting His Word over yourself, “His faithful love (to me) endures forever” or “He never stopped loving
me.” The purpose is to remind us of God’s faithful love in all that we go
through. Yes, His faithful loves endures forever!
So
let us trust in our faithful God who loves us forever!
Song: Never
Failed Me Yet
Never failed me
yet,
Never failed me
yet,
Jesus’ love never failed me yet.
This one thing I
know
That wherever I
go
Jesus’ love never failed me yet.
